SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Savannah Quarterback Club is the oldest quarterback club in Georgia and was founded in 1946. The club's mission is to promote football spirit, fellowship, and knowledge among its Savannah community members. The SQB Player of the Week award is handed off to the top offensive and defensive players who had outstanding games from the previous week. Winners are chosen from local schools, private and public, which are located in Savannah Chatham County.
