Savannah's Rivers Hood, 9, posted a score of 4-under par 68 in the final round of the US Kids Golf Copperhead Classic played on the Innisbrook Golf Resort's South Course and finished runner up in the Boys 9 age group among an elite field of junior golfers.

Hood posted a score of 3-over 75 in the tournament's first round, but he played bogey free golf in the second round to shoot up the leaderboard. Eventual winner Liam Kinne from Sarasota, Fla., made a birdie on his final hole for a one-stroke margin of victory over Hood.

Hood was on of only seven players in the field to card a score under par during the 36-hole tournament, and his 4-under 68 was the lowest score for any golfer in the field.
