Savannah's Miller earns first win as college golfer at More Thank Golf Invitational

Savannah's Mary Miller, one of the most decorated junior golfers in Savannah's history, earned her first collegiate win in Aiken, S.C. at the More The Golf Invitational played March 28-30 at Old Barnwell Golf Club.

Miller, a freshman on the Georgia Southern University women's golf team, carded scores of 72-68-74 to finish 5-under par and claim a one-stroke victory over Mary Grace Dunigan from Delaware University. In addition to Miller's invidual medalist honors, the Georgia Southern team finished Even-par for 54 holes and won the team competition by 18 strokes over Delaware.

Miller, who won the Georgia Girls Championship in 2022 and 2023, has now earned three Top-5 finihses in five collegiate events as a freshman.
