The Benedictine Military School golf team won the Area 1-AAAA championship played April 29 at Okenfenokee Country Club in in Blackshar, Ga., qualifying for the Class AAAA state tournament being played May 19-20 at Governors Town Club in Acworth, Ga.
BC placed five players in the Top 10 at the Area championship. Sophmore Bear Dollander finsihed runner up with a score of 2-under par 70, sophomore Jack Weeks was T3 with a score of Even par 72, junior Chad Chadwell was T8 with a 5-over par 77, junior Hamp Threlkeld was T10 with a 6-over par 78 and freshman Alex Dao was T10 with a 78.
