SCDS, Patel win SPAL championship

Savannah Country Day School won the 2025 SPAL Middle School Golf Championship played April 29 at Savannah Country Club, led by individual low medalist Sahaj Patel.

Patel carded a score of Even-par 35 for nine holes to win low medalist by a stroke over runner up Carson Hayes from Hancock Day School. In the girls' competition, Calvary Day's Emma Parker posted a 10-over par 45 to narrowly edge Savannah Country Day's Alena Chu by three strokes.

Other counting scores for Savannah Country Day were Ayur Patel's with 42, Charlie Hill with 45 and EJ Williams with 46. Savannah Christian Preparatory School finished runner up with scores from Levi Henson, Chris Park, James Butler and Thad Stevens.
