Savannah's Miller wins Beth Daniel Junior Azalea

Savannah's Mary Miller, a senior at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, posted scores of 71-72-69 at the Country Club of Charleston to finish 4-under and win the Beth Daniel Junior Azalea by two strokes.

Leading Madison Messimer of Myrtle Beach, S.C., by one stroke with one hole to play, Miller made a birdie on her final hole to close out the victory. Miller's summer has included victories at the Georgia Women's Match Play Championship and the Georgia Girls Championship as well as an appearance at at the Junior PGA Championship.

The Beth Daniel Junior Azalea is a junior-specific tournament designed to showcase Charleston’s hospitality for the top juniors in the country to compete at the Country Club of Charleston.

Savannah's Kate Barber, a junior at Savannah Country Day School  finished 13th the Junior Azalea and made an ace on the third hole during the tournament's second round.
