SCPS Leads in the GHSA Class AAA Region 3 All-Region Softball Awards

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Savannah Christian Preparatory School led the GHSA Class AAA Region 3 All-Softball Team awards, led by Coach of the Year Matt Oglesby, Player of the Year Jillian Austin, Offensive Player of the Year Payton Livingston, and Pitcher of the Year went to Mya Armstrong from Liberty County.

 

SCPS placed five players on the first team: Jillian Austin, Payton Livingston, Leighton Stallcup, Julia Ronk, and Chaynie Cornwell,

 

Calvary placed two players on the first team: Emma Overby and Natalie Sanders. Long County placed two players on the first team: Ciara O'Brien and Kyleigh Sizemore. Liberty County placed one player on the first team: Cadie Martin.

St. Vincent's Academy placed one player, Loki Thompson.

SCPS placed two players on the second team: Hannah Jane Gard and Ava Rolen. Calvary placed two players on the second team: Reese Jenkins and McKenzie Clayton. Long County placed one player on the second team: Jersi Lester. Liberty County placed one player on the second team: Makiya Floyd—St. Vincent's placed one player on the second team: Sam Crossley.

 

The GHSA Class AAA Region 3 All-Softball Team is as follows:
