Isabella Carrano has been playing soccer ever since she can remember, and she was looking forward to her senior soccer season with Savannah Christian Preparatory School. Isabella said, “Unfortunately, like everybody else, they canceled our season. It was hard since it was my senior year and our team was starting work well together.” Throughout Isabella’s soccer career she has won a Most Valuable Player award, received the Coach’s Award, was a Senior Captain and lettered in the sport 3 years.

Coach Ciara Thomas has been the most influential person in Isabella’s soccer career, and she stated she always pushed her to her full potential. Coach Ciara stated that Isabella “Isabella was shy and a little timid, but she truly grew into a leader on the field for us. She became a force to reckon with in the midfield and center back position and our team came to rely on her stability and ability to win balls out of the air and distribute to lead the attack. She has been fun to coach and always brought a smile to our faces at practices when trying to make sure that nothing got too serious!”

Isabella believes she has been successful as a student athlete because she says, “I try to always give everything my all”. Isabella will attend Fairfield University in the fall and she plans to major in pre-med.
