As a sophomore at Savannah  Country Day, Osterman was sharing the catching spot but was given the opportunity to be the starting catcher for the Hornets. The rest - as they say - is history.

Osterman credits his mother for her contributions to his atheltic career, because of all the sacrifices she made over the years in order to put me in the best possible circumstances.

"My mom always did her best to put me on the best travel team, get me all of the gear that I needed to play the game and has sacrificed countless hours and weekends supporting me at the baseball fields while I play," Osterman said.

If playing Major League Baseball doesn't work out, Osterman sad he will strive to become a successful attorney.
