Donatos Savannah Pizza Athlete of the Week

Week of September 2-6

Congratulations to senior Maggie Kyriakides of Savannah Christian Preparatory School, the Donatos Savannah Pizza Athlete of the Week!

In three matches last week for the Raiders, who are 14-4 and 6-0 in the GHSA 1A Area 3, Maggie recorded 27 kills, 11 digs, seven aces, and four blocks. Kyriakides has 120 kills for the season, including a season-high 14 kills against Hilton Head Islands High School on September 4.

Back in May, Maggie received an offer to play for Alabama, and the junior made her verbal commitment on "X," formally Twitter. Also, Kyriakides is the only player in the Savannah area to have been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America Watchlist. As posted on social media, just over 1,000 senior volleyball players receive these nominations nationwide.
