Congratulations to South Effingham's senior pitcher Bailey Kendziorski on being voted the John Carr Seaport Real Estate Softball Player of the Week for August 21-August 16, 2023.
Kendziorski was the winning pitcher in the Mustang's two games last week 
against Glynn Academy on August 22 and 24. In the two games, Bailey pitched eight innings, allowing three hits, no earned runs, and 13 strikeouts. On the season, she has a record of 7-0, has struck out 57 batters while only walking one batter in 31 innings pitched, has given up only 12 hits, and has not allowed an earned run all season.
Mustang head softball caoch Adam Newland said this about his pitcher, "Frankly, it's hard to imagine a pitcher having a more efficient week in the circle. In 8 innings spread over two games, Bailey only faced 2 batters over the minimum, struck out 13, did not walk a single batter, had 6 1-2-3 innings and threw strikes at a staggering 75% clip. A masterclass in dominance and efficiency."
