Phoebe Mayo '21 has run cross country and track for St. Andrew's since the 7th grade. According to her coach Tricia Yates, she has a strong work ethic and dedication to her team. She leads the girls team as a role model and team supporter as well as the strongest female runner in our region. As a freshman, Phoebe received the Gray Solana Emerging Leader Award which provides scholarship money for her choice of college. As a junior, she received scholarship awards from Furman and Wofford Colleges. She will graduate in the spring, recognized as a Jo Lamas Legacy recipient which honors students who have attended St. Andrew's since at least Kindergarten
