Dodson wins age group at Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional

Benedictine Military School junior John Dodson finished 8th at the Georgia High School Association Class AAAA state meet race with a time of 16:39.70, abut he wasn't done running. 

Dodson, who won the Region 3-AAAA title with a time of 16:23.20, won the Junior Boys group group at the Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional on November 25 in Charlotte, NC. Dodson's time of 16:26.3 was 12 seconds faster than runner up Knox Eaton from Spartanburg, S.C.

The South Regional included runners from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and U.S. citizens in Overseas Military Installations.
