Savannah, GA: Rose Williams, a senior wide receiver/safety for St. Vincent's Academy (7-2), has been named the Grassi Roofing/Prep Sports Report Flag Football Player of the Week for her outstanding performance for the week of November 13 -18, 2023.

Williams led her team to two victories, throwing for one touchdown pass, catching one touchdown pass, and recording seven receptions for 87 yards and five rushing yards. She also plays defense, staying on the field for St. Vincent's.

"Rose is our team's 'Swiss army knife,'" said St. Vincent's head coach Mike St. Louis. "Not only is she a huge threat on offense as a running back/receiver, but she is also a great quarterback. She is also the only player to play offense and defense, never really getting an opportunity to rest in our extremely fast-paced game. She fights through injuries and never wants to let her teammates and coaches down. Rose also brings a ton of energy and life to the team with her personality, but has taken massive steps in the leadership category this year. Rose is irreplaceable and an absolute pleasure to coach."
