Savannah-area teams face key playoff games this weekend with Sweet 16 and state titles up for grabs.


Friday, Feb. 27

GIAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

GIRLS

GIAA Class A State Championship
At Columbus State
Memorial Day (18-4) vs. Citizens' Christian Academy (14-12), 3 p.m.

BOYS

GIAA AAA Boys State Championship
At Columbus State
St. Andrew's (20-7) vs. Brookwood (27-3), 8 p.m.


GHSA GIRLS

GHSA Class 3A — Sweet 16
Lumpkin County (18-9) at  Jenkins (24-4), 5 p.m.

GHSA Class A Division II — Sweet 16
Bryan County (23-5) at Brooks County (19-9), 6 p.m.

GHSA Class A-3A Private — Sweet 16
Whitefield Academy (21-5) at  Savannah Country Day (19-11), 6 p.m.
