The Habersham School Varsity and Middle School Cross-Country teams combined for seven medals at the 7th Mile Farm Invitational hosted by Southeast Bulloch High School on Thursday, 10/15.
Jack Hogan captured the 3rd place overall, leading the Patriot varsity with another career low at 17:28. Freshman Tyson Harper (20:09), senior Reeder Chambers (21:54), junior CJ Barry (22:24), and freshman Ike Barry (22:43) rounded out the scorers for Habersham. The girls were led by junior Caroline Mouchet (25:46), senior Hollace Reed (26:27), sophomore Ashby Rowland (28:23), and senior Olivia Blanda (32:42)..
The Middle School boys raced to the first-place team award, winning first through fourth. Eighth grader Nicholas Aldrich won his second straight race with a 12:30; followed by seventh grader Daniil Phillips (2nd) at 12:34, eighth grader Henry Brooks (3rd) at 13:01, and eighth grader Sully McCarthy (4th) at 13:35. Seventh grader Anna Sherrod took ninth for the girls at 16:35, with sixth grader Ivy Ann Hogan adding a tenth place finish (16:38).
The Varsity will next compete in the Savannah Private School Championship on Wednesday, 10/21. The Middle School will next race in their Savannah Private School Championship on Monday, 10/26.
