The Habersham School Runnin' Patriots Successful in Guyton

The Habersham School Middle School and Varsity Cross-Country teams competed in the Honey Ridge Cross Country Meet hosted by South Effingham High School on Thursday, September 24th, with exceptional results. 

Both the boys and girls Middle School teams brought home team first places. The boys were led by seventh grader Daniil Phillips (1st), followed by Nicholas Aldrich (2nd), Walker Brooks (3rd), Sully McCarthy (4th), Walker Beaumont (12th), and Charlie Welch (13th). The five Middle School girls all finished in the top ten: Anna Sherrod (3rd), Ivy Ann Hogan (4th), Lauren Beaumont (6th), Zoie Hohnerlein (8th), and Paige Edwards (9th). 

Senior Jack Hogan finished sixth overall for the Varsity boys, running a season low of 18:01. Junior Caroline Mouchet, who also ran a season low of 26:12 led the girls. The Varsity will next compete in the 3-AAA Preview @ 7th Mile Farm in Statesboro, GA on Thursday, 10/1.
