The Hoop Roundup: Bethesda Blazers Soar, Habersham loses a Heartbreaker, Playoff Weekend Ahead

Bethesda Academy is headed to the ship!! The Blazers defeated Dillon Christian 77-65 in a South Carolina Independent Schools Association Class AA semifinal game! Israel Wright led the team with 24 points, Ashton Wright had 21, and Jacari McKay had 18.

 

The boys' and girls' teams of Habersham schools unfortunately lost in the semifinals of the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools. Both teams lost to Horizon Christian, with the girls losing by a score of 50-29 and the boys by a score of 84-81. 

 

The Habersham School boy's team was led by Luke Rowland and Daniil Phillips, who scored 26 and 18 points, respectively. The boys' basketball team had a final record of 17-9. The Lady Patriots finished the season with 17 wins and 12 losses, with Anna Cadle leading the team with 18 points in the final game. Below is this weekend hoops playoff schedule. Despite the loss, it was a great season for the basketball program.
