Former Savannah Country Day standout Reed Lotter, who made a strong first impression in his Tennessee debut on September 7, when he won his first college tournament at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate.
Playing as an individual after transferring from Auburn, Lotter tied for first place with a 7-under score of 203. He closed the event with back-to-back rounds of 66, including a 4-under final day that pushed him to the top of the leaderboard.
The win marked a special start to Lotter’s time with the Volunteers and added to a strong overall showing for Tennessee, which finished the team event at 19-under to capture the championship.
At Auburn, Lotter was part of the 2024 NCAA National Championship golf team, earning three top-five finishes, seven top-10s, and 15 top-20s in 24 tournaments. He shot a 67 (-5) in his collegiate debut, the best by an Auburn player since 2012.
For Lotter, the victory showed he is ready to make an impact in the Tennessee golf program right away.
