Two former Benedictine standouts stood out yesterday on the college football field, proving that Savannah produces some of the finest talent in the nation. Luke Kromenhoek and Gavin Stewart delivered stellar performances recently, showing why they're players to watch.
LUKE KROMENHOEK
Benedictine Military School '24 • Football
FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY
Luke, a true freshman quarterback at Florida State, made his first collegiate start unforgettable. Kromenhoek threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Seminoles to a significant 41-7 win over Charleston Southern. The former Benedictine star showcased poise and accuracy, proving he's ready for the big stage.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY
Gavin, a senior kicker at Georgia Southern, tied his career high with 14 points in the Eagles' win over Coastal Carolina in Conway. He converted four of five field goals and nailed both points after touchdowns (PAT), marking just the second time in his college career that he's hit four field goals in a game. Stewart's reliability continues to be a key asset for the Eagles this season.
