The High school basketball playoffs will be bouncing this weekend starting tonight as teams battle for region titles and aim to secure a top seed for the state playoffs, starting next week in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA). In GHSA Class 4A, Benedictine finished as the No. 2 seed after falling short in the region championship 61-59 at Warner Robbins on Wednesday Night. Meanwhile, Woodville Tompkins secured a dramatic win over Savannah Christian 52-51 with two clutch free throws in the final seconds to reach the championship game tonight.

Tomorrow, the regional championships for Class 3A-3 will be held at Calvary. Today, boys teams such as Beach, Calvary, Windsor Forest, and Jenkins are gearing up to face off in the semifinal games. On the girls' side, Calvary, Jenkins, Liberty County, and Windsor Forest compete in their respective matchups.

Bryan County, Memorial Day School, and Savannah Country Day will compete for the GHSA girls' region titles. On the boys' side, Woodville Tompkins and Savannah High will look to secure region championships.

Beyond the GHSA region tournament, the Habersham School boys and girls teams will be Savannah's representative for the Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools (GAPPS). The Patriots will be the host tonight. Bethesda Academy boys will head into the South Carolina Independent Schools Association (SCISA) state playoffs, which begin this weekend.
