Several Savannah-area golfers scored All-State recognition after the Georgia High School Golf Coaches Association (GHSGCA) released its 2026 postseason honors following another strong high school golf season across the state.
Selections were made by coaches from across the state from Georgia High School Association (GHSA) schools, with final voting conducted by GHSGCA coaches' panels in each classification.
Leading the way locally was Savannah Arts standout Maya Lilja-Vasquez, who was named the GHSA Class 2A Girls Player of the Year following another dominant season.
Lilja-Vasquez continued to establish herself as one of the top golfers in Georgia after finishing runner-up at the GHSA Class AA State Championship earlier this past month. It was the second consecutive year Lilja-Vazquez finished as the runner up for the Class AA individual low medalist. Her Player of the Year honor capped another impressive year and she is only a sophmore.

Richmond Hill also placed multiple players on the All-State list in Georgia’s highest classification.
Ledger Conley earned GHSA Class 6A Boys All-State honors after another strong season for the Wildcats. Conley has remained one of the area’s most consistent golfers and played a major role in Richmond Hill’s success throughout the year.

On the girls' side, Alexa Mohler was named to the GHSA 6A Girls All-State team, while teammate Ella Kate Woods earned honorable mention recognition. Richmond Hill Girls finished runner up at Class AAAAAA state tournament.

Benedictine Military School once again showed why its golf program remains among the best in the state. Benedictine battled back to finish third at Class AAAA golf championship.
Bear Dollander and Jack Weeks were both selected to the GHSA Class 4A Boys All-State team after helping lead the Cadets to another strong postseason finish. Dollander, one of the top junior golfers in Georgia, added another major honor to an already impressive resume following his strong showing at the GHSA state championships.
Cadet golfer Chad Chadwell also received honorable mention honors.

Savannah Country Day was represented in the GHSA 1A-3A Private School classification, with Kohki Maeda earning All-State honors. Teammate Charles Morris received honorable mention recognition after helping lead the Hornets during the 2026 season. Savannah Country Day Boys finished runner up in Private Boys state tournament.

The annual GHSGCA All-State teams continue to highlight the growth of high school golf across Georgia, and once again, the Savannah area proved it has some of the state's top talent.
