The Benedictine Military School golf team tied with Wayne County High School on April 23 at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga., to earn co-champion status at the Georgia High School Athletic Association 2-AAAA Area Tournament.

man Jack Weeks tied freshman Brody Graham from West Laurens High School for low medalist honors during the 18-hole round. In a sudden death playoff, Graham made a birdie on the first hole to caputre the low medalist title.
Other counting scores for BC were freshman Bear Dollander with 6-over 78, senior Whit Watson with 8-over 80 and senior Clayton Ruchalski with 10-over 82. The Cadets advance to the Class AAAA state tournament being played May 20-21 at Highland Country Club in LaGrange, Ga.
