BC golf finishes runner up at Lowcountry Invitational

The Benedictine golf team traveled to the South Carolina Lowcountry and finished second in the 2025 Lowcountry Invitational played March 10-11 at the May River Golf Cub at  Palmetton Bluff in Bluffton, S.C., and Berkeley Hall Club in Bluffton.

The Cadets posted a 36-hole score of 6-over par to finish 15 strokes behind AC Flora High School from Columbia, S.C. and two strokes ahead of Oceanside Collegiate Academy from Mount Pleasant, S.C. BC sophmore Bear Dollander carded scores of 7-under par 65 at May River and 3-over 75 at Berekely Hall to finish runner up at 4-under par.

Other scores from BC include sophmore Jack Weeks with 73-76 to finish T13, junior Hamp Threlkeld with 75-74 to finish T13 and junior Chad Chadwell with 78-73 to finish T18. Savannah Country Day's Thomas Claiborne posted scores of 72-80 to finish 17th and Savannah Country Day's Kohki Maeda finsihed with 81-73 and finished T22.
