BC golf finishes second at Lowcountry Invitational

The Benedictine Military School golf team finished runner up at the Lowcountry Invitational played Mardch 2-3 at Berkely Hall Club and the May River Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. 

BC posted a total score of 9-over par as a team for the 36-hole event, which was two strokes behind first place finisher River Bluff High School from Lexington, S.C. BC junior Bear Dollander, who has committed to play college golf for the University of Alabama, third at 4-under par for 36 holes, one stroke behind co-medalists Blake Bocelli from Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Sage Bradshaw from Hilton Head Island, S.C. 

Savannah Country Day School finished fourth as a team with a total score of 13-over par. Sophomore Kohki Maeda was fifth at 1-over par after rounds of 73-72, and senior Caden Hartley was T8 at 4-over par after scores of 70-78.

For BC, sophmore Hamp Threlkeld posted scores of 74-77, sophomore Alex Dao finished with scores of 77-77 and senior Chad Chadwell carded scores of 82-73. For Savannah Country Day, other scores included junior Charles Morris with scores of 77-75 and senior Thomas Claiborne with scores of 78-80.
