Bryan County MS/HS Redskins Score All-Region Honors, Sweeping Coaching Awards

The Bryan County Middle High School athletes have received an impressive nineteen All-Region honors from the region's coaches. The recognition is for their exceptional performance in football and volleyball. Among the accolades, the Redskins team has received four top awards in football. Head Coach Chérard Freeman has been named Coach of the Year, while Austin Clemons has been awarded Player of the Year. Tanner Ennis and Jacari Carney have been recognized as Defensive and Offensive Players of the Year, respectively. The awards highlight the school's exceptional accomplishments in sports this year.

Bryan County has achieved success on the volleyball court also this season. Reese Raeburn has been named Offensive Player of the Year, while Coach Melissa Adams has added another accolade to her impressive resume by winning the Coach of the Year award.

 

This impressive haul of nineteen All-Region honors and two coaching awards is a testament to the dedication and hard work of both athletes and coaches at Bryan County Middle High School. Their achievements have undoubtedly been noticed because of their commitment to excellence. Below is the list of all who earned all-region honors from the first team or second team and honorable mention:

 

Football:

  • Coach of the Year: Cherard Freeman
  • Player of the Year: Austin Clemons
  • Offensive Player of the Year: Jacari Carney
  • Defensive Player of the Year: Tanner Ennis
  • First Team Offense: Sean Kelly Hill (QB), Allen Williams (OL), John Good (OL), Byron Lewis (OL), Trevor Lanier (TE),  Krister Martin (TE), Erin Green (RB), Carson Nunn (RB/UTILITY)
  • First Team Defense: Carlin Covington (DL), Mathew Huff (DL), Christopher Winnfree (DL), Luke Holcombe (DL), Gebravion Collins (DB), Elijah Mincey (DB)

Volleyball:

  • Coach of the Year: Melissa Adams
  • Offensive Player of the Year: Reese Raeburn
  • First Team: Taryn Avramidis, Haven Dixon
  • Second Team: Jada Conley, Braelynn Shuman
  • Honorable Mention: Caycelyn Davis, Shea Coursey, Kayleigh Temple
