Natalie Sanders, a junior athlete and wide receiver for the Cavaliers, has been named the Prep Sports Report Grassi Roofing Flag Football Player of the Week for her exceptional performance last week.
Natalie led her team to three victories, rushing for 29 yards and a touchdown, catching seven passes for 94 yards and three touchdowns, and making 11 tackles, of which seven were sacks.
"Natalie is by far our most dominant player on both sides of the ball," said Cavaliers head coach Nick Grassi. "She demands attention no matter where she is lined up. She's got speed and hands and they are among the best. On defense she brings the heat, opposing QBs can't react fast enough. She is truly a special talent that is rare to find. We are lucky to have her."
According to the MaxPreps website, Natalie is currently ranked second in the state with 28 sacks. Her all-around performance and leadership have been instrumental in the Cavaliers' success this season.
