Locally, the early schedule for private schools is highlighted by Blessed Trinity visitng Benedictine on September 13, Calvary hosting St. Johns High School (S.C.) on October 4, Savannah Christian hosting Athens Academy on August 23 and Oceanside Collegiate (S.C.) on August 30 and Savannah Country Day traveling to Macon to play Stratfor Academy.
For Savannah public schools, Savannah High will start the season at Hilton Head High School on August 23, Islands High will play at Metter on August 30 and Richmond Hill has home non-conference games against Grovetown and Bluffton (S.C.) on the schedule. New Hampstead will play teams from three states this season, taking on Bolles High School from Florida and playing at Hilton Head High School in addition to its conference schedule.
