Savannah Christian's Mary Miller entered the final round of the 43rd Georgia Girls' Championship in third place but responded with a brilliant round of 3-under par 69 on the Callway Gardens Mountain View Course to earn a three-stroke victory over Averi Cline from Suwanee, Ga.

Miller carded scores of 72-70-69 to finish the 54-hole tournament at 5-under par after recording birdies on five of her last 12 holes to overtake Cline, who led after each of the first two rounds. Miller's victory makes her the first junior golfer to win a Georgia State Golf Association juniro championship since Brian Harman won back to back Georgia Junior Championships in 2002 and 2003.
