There were low scores in every age group at the second Savannah Junior Golf Association event of 2022 - the Fox & Weeks Crosswinds Junior Golf Classic played June 20 at Crosswinds Golf Club.

Age group winners included:

Boys 10-12 Alex Dao (78)
Boys 13-14 Patrick Mahaffey (77)
Boys 15-18 Bowen Kicklighter (78)
Boys Open Talyn Childress (72)
Girls 10-14 Madison Woodrum (74)
Girls 15-18 Hayden Price (73)
 
The next Savannah Junior Golf Associaiton event is the Savannah Junior City Amateur June 27-28 at Bacon Park Golf Course!

Tour will host seven tournaments between September and November . . .

The "Coach" Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine "The Prep Sports Report" in 2000. In 2010, the "Coach" started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. He's still going strong, broadcasting on Facebook live and Twitter live every Saturday morning. You gotta love it!
