Richmond Hill HS Wildcat Wright punches out Week #7 John Carr Seaport Real Estate Baseball Player of the Week.

Congratulations to Richmond Hill High School's Garrett Wright for winning the Week #7 John Carr Seaport Real Estate/Prep Sports Report Baseball Player of the Week. All players are nominated weekly by the area high school head baseball coaches. Due to no nominations for position player of the week, there is only one winner. The PSR selected no position player this week. 

 

PITCHER/PLAYER of the WEEK

Player: Garrett Wright - senior Pitcher

School: Richmond Hill High School

Sport: Baseball

Week: March 27 - April 2, 2023

 

HIGHLIGHT: Garrett Wright went the distance in game 2 of the Richmond Hill High School region series with Camden last week on March 31, 2023. The lefty struck out 16 Camden Counyu Wildcats, walked 1, and allowed only two hits in a complete game 2-0 shutout win. 

 

COACH'S COMMENT:  "We are very proud of the performance Garrett had. He is getting better as the season goes and continues to be a competitor on the mound for us," said Richmond Hill High School Head baseball coach Hill Thomas.
