Get ready for some thrilling basketball action tonight, November 24, 2023, as the first Savannah Hoops Shootout tips off at the Enmarket Arena! Six of the best high school boy's basketball teams from the region will compete in this inaugural event, and you want to attend it.
As part of the Thanksgiving holiday basketball week in Savannah, this tournament follows the Savannah Hoops Invitational collegiate portion and promises to be as exciting. You'll witness the best teams from Robert W. Groves High School, St. Andrew's School, Savannah High School, Sol C. Johnson High School, Calvary Day School, and Benedictine Military School as they battle it on the court.
The opening night tipoff game will be a real treat, with St. Andrew's School, the two-time GIAA Class 3A state champions, taking on Robert W. Groves at 6 p.m. and Sol C. Johnson battling Savannah High School at 8 p.m. Plus, there will be an exciting 3-point shooting contest between games to keep the energy high.
On Saturday, the action continues with Calvary Day School facing Savannah High School at 4 p.m., then Sol C. Johnson taking on Benedictine Military at 6 p.m. And if that's not enough, there will be a Slam Dunk contest between games, guaranteed to keep you in your seat.
Tickets to the event are $15 each and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, Enmarketarena.com, and at the Enmarket Arena box office.
