Savannah's Miller qualifies for US Girls Junior Championsip

Savannah's Mary Miller, a member of Savannah Christian Preparatory School's Class of 2024, carded a score of 2-under 70 at Druid Hills Country Club on June 24 to qualify for the US Girls Junior Championship being played at El Cabellero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif., July 15-20.

Miller was one of four qualfiers to advance from the Druid Hills qualifier, joining Yujie Liu from China, Yiwei Zhao from China and Thanana Kotchasanmanee from Rome, Ga. Miller has committed to play college golf at Georgia Southern University, and this spring she won the Georgia High School Association Class AA state tite and qualified to compete in the PGA Junior Championship by virtue of winning the Georgia PGA Junior Championship for a second time.
