Savannah, Ga. - Savannah State University will host the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships for the first time, welcoming over 7,000 top youth athletes from July 21 to 27.

The weeklong competition at Ted A. This national stage includes everything from the 100-meter dash to the pole vault, shot put, and multi-event competitions like the heptathlon and decathlon.

Action kicks off Monday, July 21, with the first day of the heptathlon and decathlon for the 15–18 age groups. Events such as the hammer throw, 1500m race walk, and steeplechase will follow. Opening ceremonies are scheduled for Tuesday evening, and the schedule features daily prelims and finals in running, jumping, and throwing events.
