Senior Spotlight: Davis Bush (Savannah Christian)

Savannah Christian senior Davis Bush has been the leader of the Raiders' golf team in character and in low scores for four years.

He qualified for Class A private school state tournament as an individual during his sophomore year and was looking forward to making it back to state this season. Bush was highly motivated to lead the team to the state tournament as well.


During his junior year, Bush shot 76 at the Area 1-A Private tournament and posted an average score of 39 during nine-hole matches. He carded a score of 2-over par 38 at Southbridge Golf Club, shot 78 at the BC Adidas Invitational at The Savannah Golf Club and posted a score of 79 at the Savannah City High School Championship at Bacon Park Golf Course. 

In 2018, Bush won a Georgia Junior Golf tournametn Georgia Southern University with a score of qualified for the Georgia State Golf Association Junior Championship played at Rivermont Golf Club in Johns Creek, Ga.
