South Effingham senior Zan Kreyenbuhl played in the #1 singles position for three years for the Mustangs' tennis team, compiling a record of 35-20 during his four years on the team.

A four-year letterman on the varsity tennis team, Kreyenbuhl credits his grandfather for being the most influential person in his athletic career, because he was always on the sidelines as a supporter.

After initally playing tennis so he wouldn't be left out when his sister was playing, Kreyenbuhl was named Most Valuable Player after each of his four seasons at South Effingham.

He also won Grade Point Average awards every year as an Honors program student and plans to attend Georgia Southern University.
