St. Andrew's School Freshman Jossy Thompson Wins Three Gold Medals at GIAA Swim Meet

Jossy Thompson splashes at the GIAA championship, clinching three golds for St. Andrew's School. A freshman at St. Andrew's School, Jossy Thompson won three events at the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) championship swim meet held on January 27, 2024, at Georgia Tech. 

She won gold medals in the 50-meter freestyle (with a time of 24.45 seconds), 100-meter Breaststroke (with a time of 1:08.15 seconds), and 100-meter butterfly (with a time of 58.33 seconds). Thompson's success helped the St. Andrew's girls' team place 6th out of 42. Jossy has been a Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT) member for over eight years, swimming outside of the St. Andrew's School swim program.
