Hamp Threlkeld continues his winning ways.

After winning the Boys 13-14 age group at both the Savannah Junior City Amateur Championship at Bacon Park Golf Course earlier this summer, Threlkeld took the show on the road this week and won the Boys 12-13 age group at the Forest Heights Junior Classic, a Southeastern Junior Golf Tour event played at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro July 21-22.

Threlkeld carded scores of 75-74 to finish 5-over par for 36 holes and five strokes ahead of runners-up Hal Dollander from Savannah and Grant Odom from Statesboro. Odom was Evenpar through 15 holes during the second round and had climbed within two strokes of the lead, but Threlkeld made consecutive birdies on his 15th and 16th holes to close the door.
