One of the area's biggest games will be on the hardwood tonight, as the slate features a lot of region bouts.
On the boys' side, in Georgia High School Association 3A region 3, Calvary Day School (7-2/14-5) and Sol C. Johnson (7-2/16-4) will meet for the second time this season as these two teams are battling for a region second place spot behind leader AE Beach High School (7-0/16-2).
On December 10, 2022, Calvary knocked off the #1 team in GHSA Class 3, Johnson, by a score of 65-62 at Calvary. After the upset, Calvary cracked the top 10 in the state rankings and has been there ever since. Johnson has been one of the top 10 teams all season long. As of today, on Sandysspeil.com website, in boy's rankings, Beach is #2, Johnson #3, and Calvary #6. It should be another exciting game and get there early, you don't get left out in the cold.
