This Grassi Roofing/Prep Sports Report Girl's Basketball Player of the Week Award for January 23 to 28th of the season goes to Sanai Chisholm, Woodville Tompkins High School.

Highlights: In two games, Sanai scored 47 points, had 15 rebounds, ten steals, and eight assists against Metter and New Hampstead High School. Against Metter, Chisholm scored 29 points, including three for five from three-point range. Then, she recorded a double-double versus New Hampstead, scoring 17 points and grabbing ten rebounds.
Coaches Comments: "Sanai was on a hot streak those two games. She is the centerpiece of our offense. She knows how to break a defense down with her aggressive Penetration. She will be hitting her 1000th point mark in the next two games.," said Woodville Tompkins High School head girl basketball coach Jeffery Roberson.
Coach's Corner/Prep Sports Report Boy's Basketball Player of the Week
This Coach's Corner/Prep Sports Report Boys' Basketball Player of the Week Award for January 23 to 28th goes to Joshua Quarterman of Sol C. Johnson High School.

Highlights: Joshua scored 45 points in his last two games. Against Savannah Christian, he tallied 23 points on 9 for 13 shooting, including 3 for four from behind the arc. On Saturday, January 28th, versus Calvary, he had a game-high 22 points on eight for twelve shooting, hitting four three-pointers.
Coaches Comments: "Joshua is our sparkplug, he brings the energy to our team," said Sol C. Johnson Chuck Campbell.
