All Kate Barber does is win, win, win ... and win again.
Barber, an 8th grader at Hancock Day School, won her fourth consecutive tournament last week, posting a 36-hole total of 2-over par to edge runners up Mia Sessa from Augusta, Ga., and Sawyer Brockstedt from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware in the Prep division of the Sea Island Resort Girls Classic on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour. Barber led by one stroke after a first round of 1-over par 73 and held on to win in the second round by playing her final six holes 2-under par.
Barber also recently won the Junior Honda Classic played at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach, Fla., and the Doral-Publix Junior Golf Classic played at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami, Fla.
