Former First Presbyterian School Soccer Player Casandra Ruff Signs with Brenau University

Cassandra Ruff, sophomore soccer player at Georgia Military College (GMC) and played high school soccer at First Presbyterian Christian Academy in Hinesville, officially signed with Brenau University on May 1st. It was an electronic signing online do to covid-19. Ruff played travel soccer with the Richmond Hill Soccer Club Comets.

Ruff spent the last two years playing for GMC in Milledgeville GA. Cassandra earned National Junior College Athletic Association Region 17 All-Region First Team Defense honors for the 2019 -2020 season. Ruff played in 34 games and started 29 career games at GMC. Cassandra also played in two conference Championships for the Bulldogs in 2018 and 2019. Besides excelling on the soccer field, Cassandra made the GMC dean's list.

To go one step further, Cassandra earned GMC's highest academic award by making the Presidents List for the 2020 spring quarter. To qualify for the President’s List at the completion of each quarter, a student must attend GMC on a full-time basis, have achieved a quality point average of 3.70 in the academic subjects taken in the quarter just ended, and must not have received a grade below “C” in any subject for the quarter. As you can see Cassandra is a winner on and off the field.
