Savannah Christian rising senior Mary Miller, a Georgia Southern University women's golf commit, finished T29 at the Sea Island Women's Amateur played July 24-27 on Sea Island's Seaside Course.
Miller, the Georgia Women's Match Play and Georgia Girls champion, carded scores of 72-70-73 on the par 70 layoutt to finish 5-over par. The Sea Island Women’s Amateur was started in 2021 and draws the nation’s best female golfers to the world-class setting of Sea Island.
Miller will next be competing against the best junior golfers in the country at the Junior PGA Championship August 1-4 at Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Savannah's Kate Barber, a rising senior at Savannah Country Day School, was also in prestigious field on Sea Island and posted scores of 79-73-74 to finish T62.
