Savannah, GA - St. Vincent's Academy is pleased to announce Nichols St. Louis as our new Director of Athletics. Nichols joined the SVA team in 2019 as our head volleyball and track and field coach and in the 2020 school year she took on the role of Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Registrar along with managing Health and Safety on campus.

Nichols brings over 13 years of coaching experience to the Saints and in her second year with SVA helped lead the volleyball team to the Elite 8 and led the track and field team to an impressive 9th place overall finish in State, breaking three SVA records.

Nichols graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay in three years with Cum Laude Honors in the Integrates Studies Special Major. Her major emphasized Human Communication, Global Studies, and Collaborative Health and Human Services. She holds a certificate in Grant Writing and Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills. After college she worked with educational nonprofits for 10 years in fundraising, marketing, events, and development. After having her second child, she left the nonprofit sector and became an Operations Manager specializing in container yard logistics.

She and her husband moved to Savannah in 2017 when he was transferred from Long Beach to Savannah with Gulfstream. She took some time off professionally to mother her two children and we were happy she joined our team in 2019. While she has been a part of the SVA family, we are excited to see Nichols take on this new role. Congratulations and welcome to the team in this new position!
