St. Vincent's Gill Serves Way to Donatos Pizza Volleyball Player of the Week Award!
St. Vincent's Academy sophomore volleyball player Kaylyn Gill has had a stellar week on the court, October 9-14, 2023. She dished out an incredible 25 serving points in a match, including 17 aces. In addition to Gill's serving prowess, she has become a valuable backup setter for the Saints. Kaylyn contributed 43 assists, six kills, and six aces this past week, helping her team's success.
St. Vincent's Academy's Head Volleyball Coach Nichols St. Louis praised Kaylyn's effort, saying, "Kaylyn is a hard worker that does anything her team needs. Before stepping in to cover as a setter, Kaylyn was one of our top kill earners, but she did what was necessary for the team to continue without skipping a beat. Last week, Kaylyn served a monstrous game, serving 25 straight points, including 17 aces. It was one of those things you don't see often from a player, especially a sophomore."
Kaylyn's outstanding achievements on the court were why she is Week #8 Donatos Pizza Volleyball Player of the Week.
