Effingham County HS Giordano tosses the John Carr Seaport Real Estate Softball Player of the Week Award!

Ansleigh Giordano of Effingham County High School is the John Carr Sepaort Real Estate Softball Player of the Week from September 25, 2023, to September 30, 2023.

 

Ansleigh Giordano, a sophomore from Effingham County High School, achieved an impressive victory on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in South Effingham, winning 2-0. She allowed only two hits, one walk, and one hit by pitch while striking out nine batters. 

 

Coach Brad Thompson praised her performance, saying, "Ansleigh is a big-time player who shines in crucial moments." With this win, her season record improved to 14-0 with one save, 93 strikeouts, and nine walks. Her ERA stands at 0.350, and opponents only hit .125 against her. Ansleigh Giordano embodies "Rebel Pride" at ECHS, and her team is grateful to have her. Go Rebels!"
