South Effingham junior Danni Lynn came through in a big way last week, and it’s earned her the title of John Carr Real Estate/Prep Sports Report Softball Player of the Week.

In a close game against Glynn Academy, Lynn had a huge day. She went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs. Her biggest moment came in the top of the seventh inning, when she hit a go-ahead three-run homer to help the Mustangs win 7-6.

Mustangs Head Coach Adam Newland, said, “We’re always impressed, but never surprised by the things Danni does on the softball field. She had a huge week when we needed it most. She’s a clutch player and we’re lucky to have her.”

So far this season, Lynn is having a great year. She’s batting .518, has hit six home runs, and has 29 RBIs for a South Effingham team that is now 17-2.
