Ava Rolen, a senior from Savannah Christian, has grabbed the John Carr Fast Pitch Softball Player of the Week for Week 7, which ran from October 2 to October 10. Her stats for the week include batting .500, going 5 for 10 at the plate, hitting two doubles, driving in 6 runs, and scoring one run.

Matt Ogelsby, the head coach of the Raiders, had high praise for Ava. He said, "Ava has been a steady leader on and off the field for our team! She is our only senior and she doesn't take that responsibility lightly. She sets the tone at practice and is a vocal leader during the games. She had an incredible week leading us to our first region championship since 2013. Including going 3-3 with 3 RBIs on Senior Night in the region clinching game!"

Ava Rolen's exceptional performance and leadership qualities have played a significant role in her team's success, making her deserving of this award, the John Carr Fast Pitch Softball Player of the Week.

Congratulations to Ava on this well-deserved recognition!
